It’s been a long time since I’ve written something here. And it’s not like I haven’t been in front of a computer: day after day I’ve been consistently spending around 12 hours a day in front of my laptop, and without leaving my room but for survival activities (shopping, laundry, etc.) How sad…I know. It wasn’t my intention to neglect my online life, but I’ve been terribly busy. I think this was the time I’ve been more stressed in my life :-( On the other hand, I’m 24, so maybe I’ve had a pretty relaxed life up to the moment. Who knows… I’ll let you be the judges of that; for starters, let me put you up to date on the many changes there have been.

I’m proud to say that, although not officially yet, I am an engineer. It sounds good, doesn’t it? I am an engineer… hehe It feels good just to stop for a moment, hold your breath and say out loud: I am an engineer! Try it, it’s awesome! You can see I find joy in the smallest things ;-)

If you must know, it’s an electrical engineer. Well, at least I think this is the most appropiate degree for my studies. Don’t take me wrong, I know what I’ve studied, but every country has its own degrees and they are not exactly the same. The exact translation of the catalan name would be “Telecommunications engineer”. In Germany, this is Elektroteschnik, and in english the one I’ve mentioned before. I am very happy, but not by the fact of having a paper I can hang on the wall that says it, but by the fact that a stage of my life is finally over.

Ends are always busy periods… The last month and a half, the completion of my thesis took all my time. That’s enough work, but at the same time my german life was coming to an end and simultaneously, I had to plan my next move. It is always hard to decide what you will do next. I think uncertainty is a scary thing. Past, present and future came together in what I’ll remember as hell-July 2006.

However, let’s not spoil the surprise. You’ll have to keep on reading if you wanna know how things turned out. In the next posts I’ll try to catch up the blog contents with my real life. This is just to tell you that I’m back online!

In last entry, at June 15th, the world cup was in its climax, and Germany was living something spectacular. So let’s see how that turned out…
